A reconnaissance survey was accomplished in October 2009 to investigate the water quality of the southern part of Rosetta Branch.  The reason for choosing the southern part of Rosetta Branch is that its most potentially polluted area of the branch due to the very heavily polluted discharge from El-Rahawy drain which is discharging to the branch close to Delta barrages (i.e. reference point of Rosetta Branch).
