The institute overall mission is conducting research for developing the system of waterways and their hydraulic structure. Specific aims are as follows: conducting researches connected with developing the irrigation and drainage system for improving water structures, which are suitable for their specific purposes, calibration of the different pump stations for irrigation and drainage and devices for velocity measurement structure; and developing the devices used in measuring different hydraulic parameters.
